Basic everyday outfit idea

I've been gone for so long, I've been very busy with college work but will now be posting more often as I have a little bit more time.

I want to post more fashion based content on this blog. As I'm doing it as a course at college and it is one of my main interests as well.
However I will definitely keep posting my coursework, as it is own of my more popular pieces of content.

Here is a random outfit which I put together, which I thought would start as section of my blog based on my go to everyday outfits which i wear to college and out and about.

The pieces from this outfit I put together which is very casual and everyday:

Top: Hollister
Trousers: Urban Outfitters
Belt: Brandy Melville
Shoes: Van's ( these shoes are new and I love them, they surprising go with pretty much anything)
Scruchie: Topshop ( which was gifted)

Late Christmas project

Happy new year! Sorry but I forgot to post a project that I had been working on before Christmas and the new year. So thought I'd post it now, better late than never. This Christmas jumper/top has been created using a black long sleeve top, different festive themed fabric cotton fat quarters. Finally with a variety of different ribbons and threads to finish the garment off. I think it looks really neat and has been quite successful, leave your feedback down in the comments :)

Paper garment inspired by Susan Cutts

I wanted to experiment using the techniques which Susan Cutts uses in her work. I decided to create my own paper garment like what she does in sculpture form I used a fabric base in calico fir the bodice, then papa mashed with thin strips of paper over the top. Then created a ruffle neckline and bottom using kitchen roll flowers stuck on by duct tape. For the skirt I used duct tape and newspaper which created a tutu like skirt. Finishing with the same paper roses over the top to cover the waistband.
