Experimenting with Adobe Photoshop

Last week in my computing lessons at college we were exploring how to use Adobe Photoshop to create different patterns with the different tools in the tools area.



I overall found it quite difficult to add different layers so would like to work on that in the near future.

Late Christmas project

Happy new year! Sorry but I forgot to post a project that I had been working on before Christmas and the new year. So thought I'd post it now, better late than never. This Christmas jumper/top has been created using a black long sleeve top, different festive themed fabric cotton fat quarters. Finally with a variety of different ribbons and threads to finish the garment off. I think it looks really neat and has been quite successful, leave your feedback down in the comments :)

Paper garment inspired by Susan Cutts

I wanted to experiment using the techniques which Susan Cutts uses in her work. I decided to create my own paper garment like what she does in sculpture form I used a fabric base in calico fir the bodice, then papa mashed with thin strips of paper over the top. Then created a ruffle neckline and bottom using kitchen roll flowers stuck on by duct tape. For the skirt I used duct tape and newspaper which created a tutu like skirt. Finishing with the same paper roses over the top to cover the waistband.
